The Black Arm Complete is engineered for users working with higher loads, comfortably handling between 5-32kg (11-70 lbs). It comes equipped with four 7.0mm springs and four 7.5mm springs, covering the entire load range. The springs can be used in single or dual configuration on each side, allowing you to achieve the precise lift needed for your equipment.
The system's damping action across all axes - vertical, tilt, and roll - is facilitated by custom-made actuator hydraulic dampers that are fully adjustable. With a 22-step knob, you can fine-tune the exact amount of damping required for your shot. The Black Arm Complete comes with a total of six dampers, providing the option for dual dampers on each axis if needed, or as spares.
The Black Arm Complete also includes an anti-vibration mount (AVM) designed to reduce high-frequency vibrations, such as those produced by a car's engine. The AVM is available in five different weight ranges, ensuring optimal efficiency for your specific load and conditions.
The Black Arm Complete is shipped in a Pro Case, designed in sleek all-black to match the arm. The case features powder-coated black metal corners, heavy-duty recessed handles, and butterfly catches. It also includes wheels for easy transportation, much like a cabin bag. The foam inside the Pro Case is also black, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
Mounting the Black Arm is straightforward, simply clamping onto a standard 48-52mm speed rail. You can build a rig onto your vehicle using standard grip components like speed rail and dual clamps, possibly using Flowcines Universal rack or Stub mount. The Black Arm can be easily attached with the two single clamps at the back of the arm.
The Black Arm offers several ways to attach your gimbal. The included base plate features hole patterns to match the Freefly Toad in a hole and Cinemilled Universal Ronin mount, facilitating easy attachment of the MoVI and Ronin gimbals. A Mitchell female mount is also available for gimbals that use the Mitchell connector. Additionally, cheese plates on each side of the Black's head provide suitable mounting points for batteries or Kenyon gyros.
